Learn What Happens Once We Securely Shred Your Documents
Since our founding in Columbus, Ohio in 1995, Royal Document Destruction has led the shredding industry in recycling by focusing on returning shredded documents and other post-consumer materials to the paper fiber market, saving trees and ultimately having a positive impact on our environment. In fact, Royal Document Destruction’s commitment to recycling all securely shredded paper waste has saved tens of millions of trees over the years.
POST PAPER SHREDDING PROCESS
After your company’s material is shredded, either on-site with our highly automated mobile shred trucks or off-site at our secure facilities in Columbus and Cincinnati, it is immediately baled and shipped by semi-load to paper mills for recycling. All the paper that we collect, in the secured containers and cabinets, is ultimately recycled into a wide assortment of paper products. By recycling our clients’ shredded documents, we proudly support the manufacture of many different types of recycled paper products.
For every two security consoles filled with paper, one tree is saved through the recycling process.
According to industry estimates, in addition to saving trees, every ton of recycled paper uses 64% less energy, 50% less water and causes 74% less air pollution than the same quantity of paper from virgin wood pulp. As one of the largest shredding companies in the Midwest, you will be proud to partner with Royal Document Destruction not only for our excellent guaranteed shredding service, but for our commitment to recycling and helping the environment.
